Learning about Ohm's law and V = I*R and stuff. So I don't burn out my LEDs.

@gomerx Ah, cool stuff. Brings back the days of paging through Heathkit catalogs.

“The rug really tied the room together, did it not?” – Walter, The Big Lebowski
-
It was a cherished rug.

about a day ago from identi.ca-
@jk Yeah, the month I used 200 Megs, I was doing lots of driving on company time, and using my phone as a gps navigation system.
-
@lnxwalt that'll do it. I'm not even sure my phone's GPS works haha! Never tried it. We have a standalone GPS device for the car.
-
I used to hit about 120 megs a month, then I got a 4G phone. Went up after that.
-
-
I’m watching the Big Lebowski. What a perfect movie. The Dude abides.
-
@parlementum Eight year olds, dude.
-
Yes. One of my favorites.

-
What what... @windigo slipping a solo HPR in. *shakes fist* :P

Watching "Mystery Men." Still one of my favorite movies.

#cscope depends on ed. What's up with that?
-
Ed is the one true editor: http://www.ale.org/pipermail/ale/1998-July/005730.html
-
Seriously, though. I imagine ed can be used for scripted editing, and is lighter than sed.
-
@gomerx cscope does come from a time when sed coud be considered bloated, so it seems likely
-
-
@silner Or, you could use filters to block text like 'x has answered poll'

Drinking milk with a sell-by date of May 1. I'm a reckless man. I'm on the edge.

IdentiCurse doesn't run that badly at all in Windows, apart from that I don't seem to be able to resize the terminal...
-
@reality it stopped working for me. Might need to reinstall but I have to re-learn how to do it every time LOL
-
In order to resize, I created a shortcut to identicurse.exe and edit the layout properties before starting it.
-
As long as you install python & git in cygwin, it installs & updates just the same for me.

Ah, server distros on servers does make more sense on production servers but, I run a webserver for fun. :)
-
@jpope you so crazy!

Fun has a lot of value.

I have plantain chips.

That sounds pretty good. I like banana chips a lot, but sometimes they're too sweet.

Reading The City & The City. Interesting stuff so far.

-
Thanks. I'll look it up.

@x11r5 are you that old?

Well after playing it for about 3 days my son likes Minecraft pretty well. Slippery slope...
-
I made one of those back in 1.3 beta :) If you're on a public server I'd be glad to help, love underwater building
-
Well, the server isn't well hidden and doesn't use a whitelist ( yet). Try gomertronic dot com. Enjoy yourself.
-
I was actually inspired by a video I saw of a huge underwater facility. I'll get screenshots at some point.
